Product Overview
Product Overview
The Bolero asymmetrical surfboard set combines our best selling quad and twin fin shapes into one unique asym fin bundle. The fins are compatible with standard Futures fin boxes and are made from solid fibreglass for longevity, built to last.
Our asymmetrical fin set up is designed to be surfed with the twin fins under the toes of the surfer and quad fins under the heel. The twin fin provides speed, drive and freeness when pushing off of the toe side rail and the quad fins provide additional hold under on the heel side rail. Due to natural body dynamics, a surfer generally tends to push harder off their heels, perhaps in a forehand carve or a backhand bottom turn. Accounting for this imbalance with an asymmetrical fin set up can create an exciting new experience, achieving the best of both worlds.

Solid fibreglass, quality materials
Solid fibreglass gives strength and longevity, reducing the number of times you need to buy fins. It’s also the preferred material for performance, getting you off plastic fins.

-
Our pricing ethos
Bolero began as a response to seeing many Black Horse Surfboards customers pairing their new boards with cheap, inferior fins. Sensing the frustration within our community at the expensive price tag that comes with quality fibreglass fins, we decided to explore better options.
-
Quality product, community pricing
By cutting out the middle man and selling direct to our surfing community, we are able to cut out retail and whole sale markups. As a result, we can price our fins competitively and fairly, without the big brand price tag.
Fins will make or break a surfboard.
Let customers speak for us
from 8 reviewsSick fins, they go nicely and look great on the board, no complaints

Great set of fins! A nice balance of drive and release, goes fast down the line without locking in or feeling too stiff like a lot of keel fins out there. Highly recommend these fins! Cheers Banjo.

Fins arrived quickly and look great, surf well and perfect price

Great price and arrived quickly. Can definitely feel the difference compared to the plastic set I had.

Fin looks great in my mal, neutral colour goes with both my longboards and quality feels great

Bought this fin to pair with my new 9'6 log and am super happy with how it goes. Feels stable on the nose and shipping was quick.

Was looking for a less tracky keel fin for my fish. These twins have free'd up my surfing.

I bought this with the side bites for my longboard. Turns effortlessly for an old guy like me
