SOLID FIBREGLASS FINS. SOURCED FROM RETIRED WIND TURBINE BLADES.

Turbine Made surf fins, manufactured in partnership with Bolero Surf and ACCIONA, are made from 100% decommissioned wind turbine blades. Milled from solid fibreglass, they retain the incredible strength and durability engineered to withstand decades of extreme weather conditions.

GIVING LIFE TO MATERIALS ONCE USED TO GENERATE RENEWABLE ENERGY.

The repurposed fibreglass offers a unique unilateral flex pattern. This additional strength unlocks thinner foils, reducing overall drag compared with traditional fibreglass fins.

BOLERO X ACCIONA TURBINE MADE FINS

AUSTRALIAN DESIGNED AND MADE.

Crafted in Sydney by Bolero Surf, these fins represent the vision of 26-year-old designer Banjo Hunt. For years, Bolero's production was split between Australia and offshore factories. Banjo set out to bring it all home to elevate quality, slash environmental impact, and create a truly sustainable local manufacturing model.

The biggest challenge? Traditional hand-laid fibreglass. It is slow, expensive, and heavily reliant on virgin materials.

Banjo spent years testing recycled fibreglass options, from caravan panels to boat hulls. Most fell short with loose weaves and excess resin that compromised high-performance flex and strength.
